The Oxford Study Skills Centre is made possible by the generous donations of our benefactors. Your gift will teach life long study skills and will be a vital contribution to this unique and important academic resource.
Oxford is a challenging and exhilarating place to study. The Oxford Study Skills Centre at LMH, the first of its kind in Oxford, empowers students to get the most out of their short time at Oxford. Helping students to keep on top of their studies enables them to focus on the academic requirements of their course and improve academic results. Mastering study skills and good academic practices also can help students avoid or manage stress at busy times of the term, allowing students to enjoy their subject and everything else that Oxford has to offer them.
You can make a regular gift to provide a steady source of income for the future or a single gift to help us get the new Centre fully established. Please contact Sarah Jones in the Development Office at LMH with any questions.

“I was referred to Dr Coombe’s study skills tutorials in third year by my Senior Tutor, after requesting some support with my philosophy essays. The sessions were the best use of my time over my three years, and Dr Coombe’s guidance improved my technique (across all of my subjects) to the point that she dragged me up from a low 2.1 to the cusp of a 1st.” Christopher Mills, PPE
